Orientation for International Students
Introduction
Starting your academic journey in a new country is exciting—and we are here to support you every step of the way. All new international students at Cloud Nine College are required to attend an orientation session before beginning their classes. This program is designed to help you adjust to life in Vancouver, understand college expectations, and access essential services.
Admission Process
Before arriving in Canada, students must complete the following admission steps:
1. Submit an Application – You may apply online or in person.
2. Provide Supporting Documents – This includes your academic certificates and English language proficiency test results.
3. Pay Tuition and Fees – A deposit or full program fee is required to confirm your seat.
4. Receive LOA and PAL – Once admitted, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance and Provincial Attestation Letter (if applicable).
5. Apply for a Study Permit – Use your LOA and PAL to apply through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
6. Book Travel and Arrange Housing – We recommend booking flights and accommodations early. Housing resources are available on our website Housing support.
